Number Ten Official Trailer

Hey y’all!

Today I was bored and realised I hadn’t posted anything on the official Number Ten channel.  Zero videos. Nothing. N A D A . So I decided that the first video I should make should be a trailer for this sophisticated Magnus Orn Eyjolffson Scheving / Sportacus 10 fansite! It took me some time to figure out what I should say in the trailer. So I decided to just trust nature and figure it out WHILE I make the video. So I did. It went pretty well.. I typed all the text up… then realised I had put the same effect/transition on all the words. So I decided every title would have a different look.’ I delayed the trailer for a three hour walk.. then when I came back I finally got to finish it! Yeah!

So – here is the video!

Hope ya liked it! And for fun / just to make this post longer.. have a random picture of a Sportacus toy!

Top 2 Sportacus Moments of Season 4

Hello to anyone reading this. I would like to say a few things.

1. The next TSMOS post will be published on September 27, 2023 (the 19th anniversary of “Dr. Rottenstein). It is a very tough schedule with school and other stuff. Plus, I have way more (Sportacus 10 and Magnus Scheving-related, don’t worry) things I wanna post in between that time.

2. This post was made with Open Live Writer. Hot smile

Well, let’s get on with it!

Top 3 Sportacus Moments of Season 3

    1. Yeah! We started a new era!!

3. Imagination

The way this scene goes, is that Stingy feels bad for giving Ziggy nothing as a birthday gift, but Sportacus says he gave him the best gift – imagination.

This scene is from episode two of season three, “The Greatest Gift”.

It first aired on television on April 13, 2013.

The reason I like this scene is because of how goofy the lesson is. I mean yeah, imagination is good and stuff, but.. not that useful. Anyways, good moral (kinda) and good sequel to Happy Brushday. Also, because there might be a Spongebob reference in there.

2. Sportacus catching Stingy

The way this scene goes, is that Sportacus saves Stingy from landing on the ground after falling off the clock’s hand.

This scene is from episode six of season three, “The Purple Panther: Part 1”.

It first aired on television on May 12, 2013.

The reason I like this scene is because it’s pretty unrealistic, but cool. Forget that, I like it because of the reference. I ain’t talking about Die Hard or The Good Son or whatever, I’m talking about PROJECT A . Don’t believe me? Have a SBS comparision.

See?? They’re pretty much the same thing!

1. Watermelon Workout

Sportacus puts watermelons on weight bars and lifts them up!

This scene is from episode three of season three, “Little Pink Riding Hood”.

It first aired on television on April 18, 2013.

The reason I like this scene is because.. DUH! HE’S LIFTING UP WATERMELONS ON WEIGHT BARS!!!! SPORTACUS RULES!!!!!

Sorry for how short this post was, but in my defense it’s not easy to find great Sportacus scenes in Season 3.

Top 5 Sportacus Moments of Season 2

Remember, this is my opinion. You can like ANY part of these episodes!

5. Sportacus playing the drums

The way this scene goes, is that Ziggy asks Sportacus if he can play the drums , then Sportacus drops a beat from Mayor Meanswell’s favourite musician.

This scene is from episode one of season two, called “Rockin Robbie”.

It first aired on Nickelodeon on September 25, 2006.

The reason I like this scene is because the drum solo is actually pretty fire. Also, because it shows ANOTHA talent Sportacus has! It backs up my argument on why Sportacus is the best LazyTowner! You have to be crazy smart to learn an INSTRUMENT, and sometimes it takes a year or two. But Sportacus just says “I can try” and HE DOES AN IMMACULATE JOB!!! Sportacus RULES!!

 4. Sportacus stopping a wall

The way this scene goes, is that Robbie Rotten is about to get smushed by a falling purple wall, but then Sportacus heroically saves him as fast as possible.

This scene is from episode twelve of season two, called “Birthday Surprise”.

It first aired on British television on May 12, 2007.

Sportacus pushing a skateboard backwards with his foot while throwing a bowling ball simutaneously. Copyright 2006, LazyTown Entertainment.

The reason I like this scene is obvious. Sportacus saves a villian from dying on his birthday with his gifts from Ziggy Zweets which are a bowling ball and skateboard, and bites an apple to gain the strength. Heroic, unrealistic and awesome!

3. You don’t need toys to play!

The way the scene goes, is that Ziggy complains that he can’t play with Stephanie and Stingy because he doesn’t have any toys (LazyTown language for sports equipment). Sportacus then tells him he doesn’t need toys to play, and then performs one of the best Sportacus songs.

This scene is from episode eighteen of season two, called “Sportacus Saves The Toys”, or “The End of Sportacus”.

It first aired on Canadian television on October 15, 2007.

It was the rumored last episode of LazyTown before LazyTown Extra suddenly premiered.

Anyways, the reason I like this scene is because Sportacus is telling Ziggy a very cool lesson, one I didn’t know about before watching this episode. Also because of the song that plays right after the lesson.

2.Butterfly malfunction

The way this scene goes, is that all the electric modern tools in Sportacus’ sportship stop working (He yells toothbrush and is thrown a soccer ball, then an apple, the door opens when he says bed). Then he checks the control box, only to find a butterfly in it. He then lets it fly out the airship.

Sportacus letting a butterfly.. well.. fly. copyright 2006 LazyTown Entertainment

This scene is from episode thirteen of season two, “LazyTown Goes Digital”.

It first aired on British television on May 20, 2007.

The reason I like this scene

is because it’s randomly funny. I mean, just imagine being a king, asking your servant for a towel, then getting pied in the face. Might not be as funny if you’re the king, but still.

1. Bungee jumping out the airship

The way this scene goes, is that after Robbie Rotten messes up all the electricity in LazyTown, Sportacus tries to leave his airship, but he can’t ride the Skutla. So he escapes the airship manually with a rope.

This scene is from episode thirteen of season two, “LazyTown Goes Digital”.

It first aired on British television on May 20, 2007.

The reason I like this scene is because it’s awesome, and shows how strong and powerful Sportacus is. Not only that, but it is one of the few rare instances in Season Two where 3D animation is used to make a scene!

Thank you for actually taking your time to read this! Remember, these are just my opinions!

LET’S GO!

Remember, this is just my opinion! You can like any parts of these episodes.

5. Him “betraying Stingy”.

The way the scene goes, is Stingy asking Sportacus what’s wrong with the world, then asking if Sportacus thinks he is a prince. Sportacus says he is a very nice guy and Stingy calls Sportacus a betrayer and refuses to listen to anything Sportacus says.

This scene is from episode nineteen of season one, called “Prince Stingy”.

It first aired on Nickelodeon on June 10, 2005.

LazyTown Entertainment started filming the episode on November 24, 2004.

The reason I like this scene is because, despite Stingy being a complete.. stinge here, Sportacus still manages to smile, knowing how unrealistic Stingy being a prince is.

4. Sportacus being friends with Robbie

The way this scene goes, is that Sportacus offers Robbie a friendship with him. He then says “With friends like you, who needs friends?!”

This scene is from episode twenty-three of season one, called “Sportacus Who?”

It first aired on Nickelodeon on August 3, 2005.

LazyTown Entertainment started filming the episode on September 29, 2004.

The reason I like this scene is because I have a feeling that Sportacus said that to tempt Robbie. I also have a feeling that he really DID say that to be nice. If he did, then you now have a feeling of why Sportacus is an awesome character! Who knows?

Regardless, MAGNUS RULES!!

3.Sportacus “relaxing”.

The way this scene goes, is that Sportacus exercises while he’s supposed to be on vacation. Stephanie catches him exercising TWICE!

This scene is from episode twenty-six of season one, called “New Superhero: Part 1”.

It is the first LazyTown double-feature episode (promoted as a movie premiere on Nickelodeon) clashing in at 45 minutes long. It is the twentieth episode that the crew started working on.

The reason I like this scene, is because it’s funny and kinda breaks the Lazytown morale. LazyTown and Magnus Scheving basically promote balance, while Sportacus can’t relax for a day!

2. Sportacus making Stephanie happy

The way this scene goes, is that after Stephanie’s friends don’t want to scout properly with her, and wanna be LazyScouts with Robbie, Stephanie goes to her bed and Milford writes Sportacus a letter asking him to come over, and they scout with each other.

This scene is from episode ten of season one, called “Lazy Scouts”.

It first aired on Nickelodeon on August 26, 2004.

LazyTown Entertainment started filming the episode on March 16, 2004.

The reason I like this scene is because it shows how much of an awesome kind person Sportacus is. We should aim to be like him!

I also like it because of the comparison to Robbie’s scouting which is all about badges and laziness. It’s basically like, when it goes to Robbie and the other kids, there’s a voice like “DON’T BE LIKE ROBBIE!! DON’T BE LAZY! DON’T FOCUS ON AWARDS!” but when it goes to Sportacus and Stephanie, the voice is like “YES! HAVE FUN WITH YOUR FRIENDS!”

1. Cry Dinosaur Workout

This is the end of the post. Anyways, the way the scene goes, is just Sportacus doing shenanigans in his sportship. Just workin out.

This scene is from episode thirteen of season one called “Cry Dinosaur”.

It first aired on Nickelodeon on October 25, 2004.

LazyTown Entertainment started filming the episode on July 1, 2004.

The reason I like this scene is because it’s real.. uhh.. Sporty! Just Sportacus getting up and moving in his airship. It’s awesome, for some reason. I don’t know. It.. just is.

10 Things You Might or Might Not Know about Magnus Scheving

If you know all of these, you’re a certified LazyTowner! 10. Magnus Scheving can’t sing.

Crazy, right? But according to a LazyTownPoint interview between Stefan Karl and Cosmik Laila on October 12, 2007, Stefan says he can’t sing for his life.

CL: Some people think Magnus was singing on some songs, and he’s not…?

SK: No, Magnus can’t sing.

CL: Not at all?

SK: Not to save his life! He can’t even sing “Happy Birthday” so you would recognize the song.

CL: Well, that’s a ‘Rotten’ thing to say! (laughter)

SK: Yeah, truth can be rotten, yeah I know.

Eesh, Stefan. Too harsh.

So you might be wondering – who the heck sings for Scheving? Matthias Matthonson sings for Scheving, while Magnus either lip-syncs, talks normally, or.. well.. just sings.

Jon Josep is the one who sings Welcome to LazyTown, in the unused version, the used version, and probably Icelandic version.

9. Magnus Scheving dubs himself in Latibaer

If you don’t know this, I don’t blame you, to be honest.

In the Icelandic dub of LazyTown, Scheving, Steffanson and Gudmondor Karason dub themselves due to being from Iceland, and most likely just to save money.

8. LazyTown is not the only LazyTown Entertainment / Magnus production

No, this doesn’t count the plays, or the promos. This counts “Dugg Hole People” (Duggholufolkid) Magnus’ first role not related to LazyTown in 2007. He was a co-producer, against Raymond P. Le Gue, who also worked on LazyTown.

Surprisingly, according to the IMBD, the movie was produced by LazyTown Entertainment.

7. Magnus built his own house!

I would be very surprised if you didn’t know this.

In a UK Guardian article from 2006, I quote Simon Mills and Magnus on this –

Scheving’s overachieving CV is varied, to say the least. Just listening to him describe it is exhausting. At first he wanted to be an architect but ended up as a carpenter, a skill that helped him build his own house. “And by that I mean physically built the house,” he says. “I laid every brick and roof tile.”

6. Magnus likes every single Sportscandy

According to a Cosmik Laila / Magnus Scheving interview from 2009, Magnus says he likes every sportscandy / fruit / veggie.

CL: You seem to promote red apples alot with LazyTown – What do you think about the green ‘Granny Smith’ (Beatle) apples?

M: I still haven’t found a “SportsCandy” I didn’t like. So green apples are just as good as the red ones.

5. There was a gym at LazyTown

That’s right, folks, whenever Magnus Scheving took a S T E P into the LazyTown Entertainment studio, the first thing he’d do, is get his energy on.

4. Magnus did most of the jobs needed at LazyTown Ent

H

Magnus in his Sportacus costume, holding the script, looking at a computer with a LazyTown backdrop on it.

Yeah, crazy. You probably thought all he did was create the show, and got it on with. But, asides from creating the show, Magnus..

  • wrote all episodes
  • directed all episodes
  • made the story of all episodes
  • created the show
  • produced all episodes
  • executively produced all episodes
  • acted in all episodes
  • did some-most of the Sportastunts
  • designed the production
  • designed the wardwrobe
  • designed the puppets
  • ..and is the C.E.O of LTE, co-founder of LTE, creator of LTE

Meaning most of the Lato (money made from Lazytown) went to Scheving.

3. Magnus owned a talkshow in the early 90s

In 1991, up until 1993, Magnus owned a talk-show (most likely radio) where parents aiming for healthy kids could ask questions on how to get their children healthier.

Magnus realized that parents kept on asking the same questions over and over again, as if he was talking to the same parents.

So, he made the book Afram Latibaer in Nov. 1995, and that was the start of LazyTown!

2. Magnus doesn’t have social media

Magnus Scheving DOES have social media, but he is not active on Twitter.

He does not have an official Instragram, Tumblr, YouTube.. not even an account on LazyTown.eu! (sign up for one at – forums.lazytown.eu)

1. Magnus once wrote a column for a magazine

The Sun, a popular UK magazine offered Magnus his own health column in July 2008. Remember, this is when office work wasn’t the only thing happening at the LazyTown studios. They WERE filming the first season of LazyTown Extra.

Anyways, he decided that he would write as Sportacus. He also decided he would get one article out every 3 weeks.

There is no online footage or media of this article.

I hope you enjoyed this post and found out some more about Magnus! Remember, get it together, because no one’s lazy!
