Confirmed by head writer and lyricist: More is in store for LazyTown (LazyPod on hold!)

Three days ago, I sent this message to Mark Valenti – lyricist for the first two seasons, writer for the first two and Extra, and owner of the LazyPod Podcast:

Hey Mark!

I just wanted to know..

  • If I have permission to use the Magnus Scheving interview in one of my videos (accompanying the interview with captions and photos/videos)
  • Your favourite episode/song you wrote
  • When the next LazyPod episode is coming out.

Toodles!

He only answered two questions, unfortunately, but the answers he gave me are pretty straight-forward and exciting.

You may use the interview. As for LazyPod, it is on hold for now because I’m in discussions with Magnus about next steps for LazyTown.

Wait! Read that last sentence.. Mark made new episodes of LazyPod at least twice every week for a while. For him to stop because he’s talking with Maggi must mean they’re doing something extremely big. Maybe not extreme, but good enough. What do you think it might be? I’m hoping they’re discussing DVD releases, or putting the show back on TV, or getting in contact with Mani for season four CD releases! Sportacus strikes again!!

A new LazyTown video series idea.

I ramble on my thoughts about numerous LazyTown related things. I’m probably gonna make the first episode about Bessie, my least favourite character of the show.

I’ve also got a plan to make LazyTown Lyric videos for the third and fourth season. I’ve made a website for the songs (lazytownlyrics.blogspot.com) featuring credits as to who composed / wrote them. I figure I can do the same for the season three and four lyric videos! I’ll probably just make the S4 lyric videos, then re-make them once the official releases come out.

Oh, and yeah, just before typing this, thanks to the DVD release, I took some LazyTown Extra screenshots, and you won’t believe it, screenshots from LazyTown Festival in Hollini (2010). WE UP!!

Exercising with LazyTown

I used to have some weight laying around I didn’t need until I finally decided to start to get up and move with LazyTown. I do it every single day and now I can do a POWER JUMP!

I’ve lost some weight but I don’t know exactly how much.

I hated exercising until I decided to do it the LazyTown way. So thank you Magnus.

The Wake Up, Shake Up Part 2 video will be coming soon.

The list of sources I get my workouts from

  • LazyTown Extra
  • ‘Blast Off’ / Super Sproutlet Show
  • LazyTown Motivational Campaign
  • Wake Up, Shake Up

Interviewing Viivi13

‪@Viivi13‬ started her YouTube many years ago with dance videos and became a popular cosplay-dancer with her home-made Stephanie costumes. She’s still a great fan of LazyTown. We would like to do a (written) interview with her. If you have questions for her, ask them here please. #lazytown #fans ” -Pooky
Not accepting any questions given after July 10!

An actual new video in the works

Yuppity-yup! Not an idea, but the actual video.

Anyways, as you know, Maggi got interviewed for LazyPod in a 63 minute interview.

Split that into 3  – 20 minute thirds. But the last one is 23 minutes so uhh..

I’ve been working on part one for a week and I’ve only gotten through FIVE MINUTES of the interview, so don’t expect it to come out in a very short time.
